This project in Umbria, signed by Martini Verona, stems from the meeting between the historic character of a farmhouse and the lines of contemporary design.
The design challenge was to respect the original architecture, enhancing the stone and the spectacular exposed-brick vaulted ceiling with warm, bold furnishings. Floor-to-ceiling wood frames the working area, creating a dialogue between the historic surfaces and the geometries of the new project.
In this interior design project, the star of the room is the wooden wall unit with sliding central panels, embellished with a geometric diamond-pattern inlay. A detail that expresses the craftsmanship of Martini Interiors and integrates functionality into the design of the furniture.
The result is a contemporary reinterpretation of the farmhouse: materials, proportions and comfort make the spaces welcoming while preserving the identity of the residence.
