The so-called preliminary phase, during which the designer interviews the client carefully and accurately, to get to know in depth his lifestyle, needs and desires. This information is essential for optimizing the layout, ergonomics and use of the furniture, creating a truly bespoke solution. This phase is critical: the customer’s dreams and expectations are key elements of our work.

The designer creates sketches, perspectives, which are accompanied by samples of materials and colors. The customer can thus visualize the arrangement of the elements in the space, imagine the future furnishing of his own home, immerse himself in the atmosphere and then decide whether the path taken is the correct one or if there should be other changes to be made.

After the first creative phase, the time comes to define the interior design of the house analytically and with precision. The designer elaborates the general project. The first technical-design phase focuses specifically on the ergonomics and functionality of the furniture, on the exact location of the functional areas and passageways, with the aim of creating harmony in the home.

Once the general project has been completely defined and approved, measurements are taken to carry out an accurate and precise job. The state of the art is transferred to paper with care and millimeter precision. In this phase, the designer becomes familiar with the space to be furnished, using experience and imagination to configure spaces, passages and functions in a correct and functional way.

Starting from the general project, we elaborate different tables with specific plans and elevations for the various works necessary for the creation of the environment: demolitions and constructions, electrical system, flooring, ceilings, walls, etc. The executive project acts as a common thread for the various workers involved in the subsequent plant engineering and assembly activities, so that everyone has an exact and complete vision of the project from a technical point of view.

The phase in which we develop each single piece of furniture in a specific and detailed way. An alphanumeric system is used to distinguish these elements, making it possible to immediately understand their location within the plan. We link this drawing to a “book” in which furnishings and components are accurately described (dimensions, colours, finishes, codes, coverings, etc.) and shown through photographs and technical drawings.

Our artisan factory in the Verona furniture area is a center of excellence, where highly experienced craftsmen combine their manual skills with the precision deriving from the most innovative technology. Thanks to the internal laboratory, Martini offers endless opportunities for customization, from inlay to carving, from the most innovative shapes to the combination of different materials for a surprising result every time.

All the finishing steps are carried out by expert professionals who apply the paints with care and dedication and make the product protected and ready to be used.

Transporting the furniture from the production site to the customer’s home is a very delicate phase. We want to preserve the furnishings from damage: for this reason we pack them with great care, protecting the most delicate parts, before stowing them in suitable means of transport such as trucks or containers. Thanks to the scrupulous attention we dedicate to this phase, we are able to guarantee that the products arrive at their destination in perfect condition.

Once they reach their destination, the furniture is assembled and the various systems installed. The quality of the final result depends a lot on this phase, so we rely on expert and trained workers, who have an in-depth knowledge of the different techniques for assembling a custom-made piece of furniture. The single elements, thanks to an in-house pre-assembly, are uniquely numbered: this allows the operators to avoid unnecessary waste of time and to limit human error as much as possible.

Our environments are made to be lived in. Family life and daily gestures clearly cause furnishings to undergo constant stresses: displacements, knocks, contacts, wear and tear. To assist our customers we have equipped ourselves with a filing system for all the data relating to each individual design: finishes, measurements, fabrics, samples. Even years after installation, we are therefore able to guarantee quick replacements and completions.
